Atlantic Kitchens works directly with Miele UK and has an excellent logistics team, ensuring that your goods arrive promptly, safely and cost-effectively.

Travel Arrangements

Your goods are loaded onto our own exclusive Miele containers, directly from the Miele UK warehouse. This minimises product handling and potential for damage. The container is then transported to the ship, which sails to the Caribbean via France.

In special circumstances we can freight an appliance on a shared container, or by air.

Customs

On arrival in Barbados, our Customs Agent clears the container as quickly as possible. Various import tariffs must be paid, and once released, the container is driven to our secure warehouse for unloading.

Installation

Once unloaded, your goods are ready for delivery and installation by a Miele-trained Technician. Specialist installation equipment further protects your goods from accidental damage.

The electrical and plumbing services (if req'd) for the appliances are tested, and appliances are checked for correct functionality. We call this process "commissioning", and it forms the basis for your one-year warranty.

All quotes cover the freight, duty, installation and commissioning costs as standard, unless you specify otherwise.
